The Guiding Principle of Our Mission and Outreach

Our Diaconate is guided by its own carefully developed principles of Christian mission. They seek to support missions that 1) make new Christians (that is, which draw people to Christ and into His service); 2) which do the things we believe Christ wants us to do (such as provide for the homeless, the marginalized in shelters and services, etc.); and 3) that allow us to actively serve with our own hands. (Habitat for Humanity, our work as local meal providers, our service on Boards and in governmental, educational, business, financial, criminal justice, social service positions, etc.).
